I just did this gorgeous navel piercing with an ANATOMETAL bezel-set navel curve. These are #5 dark blue fauxpals, not a colour I usually order for the shop, but aren’t they lovely?

so i went to a few places to get a second opinion on my new nostril piercing being crooked. and it was, but not by much, but the angle was off and the jewelry i got pierced with was cheap and shitty. i got it re pierced with neometal jewelry that is super cute and amazing. my new piercing is kinda swollen but that’s normal. i got it redone at a place called “adorned” and Rick was super awesome and apparently “the best in the city” so…

Had a client come in wanting a super deep snug piercing. Since snugs in general tend to be a bit difficult to heal, we opted for a faux-snug (two seperate angled piercings to simulate the look of a traditional snug) with some awesome blue opals from Neometal.
Just finishing up my work week with a helix piercing with a rose gold Ohm. Hey! I have a fully healed nose ring that has recently begun hurting, maybe for the past week or so. I’m pretty sure it’s not infected, considering the area isn’t red or swollen or anything like that. It feels like I caught it on something, even though I haven’t, and it’s extremely sore to the touch. I try to keep it as clean as I can and I don’t mess with it much. What do you think could have caused it? Anything I can do about it? Thanks!
It’s hard to give the best advice without seeing the piercing, you may want to visit an experienced piercer in your area for a consultation.
My guess would be that it’s somehow related to the jewelry. Sometimes you can accumulate build up which starts to irritate the piercing. If you’re already wearing high quality jewelry simply take it out and give it a good cleaning with soap and water. If you feel like your jewelry isn’t the best quality maybe treat yourself to a new high quality piece.
